Volunteering
If you would like to enquire about becoming a volunteer with IPSUM we will consider all applications.
You do not have to have a formal qualification to be considered as a volunteer.
We offer opportunities in:
-
Our Art and Music studios for artistic and creative people who feel that they would be happy to assist in the day to day running of the project or sharing a particular craft, skill or talent.
-
Creative Writing for professional writers to deliver programmes such as story circles, prose and poetry writing.
-
Mindfulness & Meditation; if this is something you feel you can add to we would love to hear from you.
-
Placements considered for student Counsellors and Post Graduate Counsellors from level 4 and above to join our Therapist team.

Evidence shows that volunteering some of your time can enhance not just other people’s lives but also have a real positive impact on enhancing your own life.

Volunteering can be good for your mental and physical health; giving something back into your community helps and supports others to reach a better sense of wellbeing.

Learn new skills, have some fun, meet new people and improve your own sense of wellbeing.

All volunteers will be DBS checked, have training and supervision to support them to have a safe and enjoyable experience with IPSUM.
